  Not a bad venue for events. We visited as friends had their children performing in a pantomime. The layout is ok, access for disabled is level. The car park needs a bit of work to make it easy to navigate around in the dark.
  
  If looking for venues in the area this would not be top of the list as there are better within 2 miles.

  Attended an organised event and was greeted with the usual wait and delay at the bar. Food seemed to be served ad hoc and if you weren't at your seat you didn't get served. Pleasantly surprised at the quality, it's much improved since last time I was here, but it could have been warmer/hot. Staff though were oblivious but polite and helpful. They used to serve you your coffee but now they just put the pot on the table for you to help yourself. Unfortunately there isn't enough coffee in one pot to cover a large round table, so you're back to trying to catch another member of staff to ask for more.
  
  This place just seems to lack a professional approach. Having said that, it's not a bad place, just not the great place it could be!

  We attended my brother-in-law's wedding at Wellington park yesterday the staff were brilliant so friendly and helpful couldn't ask for more really, the guy that was on the bar was fab! The hotel itself is looking a little run down but didn't distract from the wedding itself
